This is not one of my favourite places to go to as I am not a big fan of rugby because of particular people that play but when I used to enjoy the sport I used to love coming here. The atmosphere at rugby games here is wild. It is always packed, the traffic outside the stadium is piled up the road to the garage and the fields are so packed, getting lost is the easiest thing to do. There are many pubs and bars so grabbing a drink is easy to do and there are many great food stores too. Many people come here for the sociale life as you will definately see at least ten people you know. The after party in the fireld is always “off the hook” with bands playing on the stage and sometimes the rugby players themselves come out to talk to the crowd. Freebies are alwasy given away and you can even go and ride the carnival rides. The only “dodgey” thing about the after party is the portable loos so if you can hold it in, great for you but if you seriously need the loo but do not trust the portables then you can use a club loo right there. There are a few good clubs nearby like Rovers that attract a huge crowd after a game. The cherry for me is the Absa Stadium is also available for big concerts, it is a nice place to be and the atmosphere here for what ever the cause is always great. You are sure to have a ball no matter what.
