Just had a huge pizza at Mea Culpa yesterday and I have to say that its was definitely quantity and not quality. I went for the vegetarian pizza and all the toppings were out of a tin not fresh. The peppers tasted really bitter with the vinegar still on, the asparagus was tasteless and the mushrooms were tinned. Even the cheese was bland . I left half of it behind and would not recommend this to any vegetarian or non vegetarians out there.

The name is worrying, but locals say it’s the best pizza in Dubrovnik. They might be right: it was very tasty when I was here. Inside is a dark wood pub of a place, which can be busy unless you’re eating at odd hours. Outside has many tables in the cobbled alley. Order some sljivovica before your meal - it’s cheap - and the waiter will be pleased.
