This really surprises me as the two beauty therapists who work there are incredibly polite and they would normally leave the room while you got changed before any waxing. Manas, a gentle lady from Iran, does the most wonderful eyebrow threading that would put some of the top specialists to shame.

Its a nice salon and reasonably priced. However the last two times I went in there I was not happy with the haircut as the stylist misunderstood my hair type and cut shorter layers into it which as soon as the hair was washed sprung out at an angle at the back!
The blowdry after was fabulous though. If I could afford a blowdry there twice a week I would. Defintiely yes for a party/special occasion, plus they do gel manicures very reasonably.
But marked down for making my hair fluffy.

Best haircuts I've had on both sides of the Atlantic. Not only because my sister owns the salon but because as I've been to numerous salons in SoCal and have not come across a single decent stylist and that is not an exaggeration. The atmosphere is very friendly and family oriented. One or two clients who became known to the salon for soliciting sexual services were banned.... Hence the couple of poor and vengeful ratings below.
All I can say is to try the salon for yourself once and if you are not fully satisfied then there is no obligation to try again.

They say back home in Los Angeles, to really test out a new hairdresser with a haircut is to see how they do a blowout. I must say that I had the BEST blowout ever... hands down!!! My hair is long & not easy either. I went 3 times, everyone is welcoming & its really worth the money & worth taking the time to write a review for too. Especially ask for Ismail.

this is a wonderful place i would go there a million times because all of the stylists and beautions are really wonderful and they know what they are doing.it is a great,clean place with a good manager!i would recommend this place to everyone and hope they feel the same.

I am not impressed with this salon at all and would not recommend it. For the price you pay you are being ripped off with bad service, rudeness, and bad results. I have gone to this salon on a few occasions only when I am desperate at the last miniute when I cant get an appointment anywhere and have always left feeling unhappy and ripped off. I have had my hair cut wonky and only noticed it the next day when I had to style it myself and I had to go and pay elsewhere to get it fixed. My eyebrows threaded with one thicker than the other and the beauty therapist said it was because the last time I had it done they took to much off my brow and suggesting that they must not have been very good when in fact it was it was actually one of their therapist I used the last time. Im am never ever going back their again.

I recently discovered this trendy little salon last Saturday, it was recommeded to be my a friend. I went in for Highlights with a cut and blow dry. The lovely stylist Alex coloured and cut my hair. In all honesty, I was really impressed with my hair, the first thing my husband said to me was " you look amazing". I also went back on wednesday and had the 21 day maniure. All I can say is thank you!!

Awful place, awful service. I went there to have a bikini wax. The girl who did my wax was not exactly unpleasant but she was very cold and unfriendly very unfriendly. She didn't ask me what specific wax I wanted to have and just assumed that I wanted a strip wax when I wanted a hot wax. What was the most annoying for me was that before the wax started, the beautician stood there the whole time watching while I got changed. This is definitely not the professional service I was expecting. I also did not like the fact that I was told to hold my skin apart whilst being waxed, I have never experienced this in all my adult life, its a very weird practice. I DO NOT recommend this salon and believe that all the 4star ratings on here must be from people that have never been to this salon and are therefore fake

I would not recommend this salon. The stylist who did my highlights was not qualified at all. The two colours that were chosen did not go together or suit my skin tone. The end result was that I went from blonde to grey with random aubergine streaks. The lights in the salon are very low as well so it is difficult to see the real outcome whilst you're there but when I got home my flatmates and I were shocked at the end result. I went back the next day to get it corrected. The manager was nice enough and understanding. However, the stylist who then corrected the colour was an arrogant guy, who turned my hair ginger. I now had to spend an additional £130 at another salon to get it all fixed. An expensive and unsettling experience that I would not want to repeat in a million years. For what it is, this is a completely overpriced salon.

I love this place! Not only is the salon clean, fresh and tastefully decorated, the staff bend over backwards to see if you are comforatble and continuously ask if you would like a drink.
Yesterday, in the boiling hot weather, I was given a delightfully refreshing drink of icy water with lemon and mint in it ...
I enter the salon looking like something having been dragged through a hedge backwards and come out of there looking and feeling like a million pounds irrespective of who has done my hair!
Rebekah the beautition is great!
I highly recommend this tasteful salon.

I am a local business woman and I have been going to vitality for the past 3 and a half years and I am shocked to read the negative review. I have found it to be the best hairdresser in the area, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, as are the lovely owner and daughter. There is great service, the salon is always clean and well maintained with the best products. It is certainly one of the best salons I have ever used.

This salon is the perfect local beauty and hair retreat in the middle of busy Maida Vale. Every customer gets a wonderful welcome, whether a regular or a first time visit. The staff are lovely and it's the little extras which really count - you will be treated like one of the family and can rely on care and consideration.

This salon does not live up to it's fake reviews i should know i was asked as was my son to write some for them along with my friend.
The salon has staff that frankly leave much to be desired, not even able to cut a fringe, it is so bad that the one hairdresser there that is any good i have gone to his salon where he works 5 days of the week. The one Girl Stylist that worked there is at Vidal Sassoon salon learning new style, that may have something to do with everyone that goes there comes out with the same style - not lying its like a sausage factory.
I went there because Eno works at Vitality two days of the week and i was going away and needed him to do my hair for me before i went. He wasn't working at Vitality when i needed him and was chastised for going elsewhere!!!!
Because i had the nerve to go and get my hair done elsewhere i was treated like a leper and the rudeness to myself was totally unbelievable - the atmosphere in the salon is just awful, frankly after finding another beauticians where they charge a fraction of vitality and far nicer, staff can understand every word you say which they can't in vitality.
I would say this salon was way, way out of its depth and when your hairdresser is not there they don't call to tell you they just lumber you with another.
Since the daughter of the salon took over every member of staff bar two have either been sacked or left of their own accord - i think that really says it all - I wouldn't even want my dog to get its hair cut there ;)

This is a wonderful quaint salon in Maida Vale, offering wonderful hair and beauty services with excellent staff that are professional, warm and friendly. The prices are competitive, too! I would strongly recommend anyone that lives or works nearby to book in. Well done to the owner who orchestrates this great salon!

Went for the first time today to Vitality, and I will be definitely making a return visit! The place is so clean and inviting, and I spent longer in there than I thought as I felt so relaxed. Sunny (I think that was her name) really listened to what I wanted, and the results are fantastic.
The staff are just so friendly and it’s a lovely atmosphere, no feeling rushed.
