The area’s main branch, and it’s as grotty looking as any place in Dalston. You’ll quite commonly find litter on the floor and a huge, possibly slightly damp (from the rain outside) queue. On the other hand, service is excellent, and that queue will move fast. They have a lot of experienced, knowledgeable staff. I always feel safe leaving my letters with them, which is more than I can say of many branches. They have a photo booth and the usual variety of leaflets. They sell some envelopes etc from behind the counter, but they don’t do much in the way of retailing.
Solid, dependable, not pretty.
