Excellent location – right by Rubenkamp station on the S1 line. Good food, good beer and cocktails. Has a beergarden in summer too.

The first time I came to the Schachcafe was on recommendation by the team of Hamburg Airport Marketing for a business lunch with travel trade people. From that day on, it became the homiest place for tasty and down to earth home-style cooking. The servings come in quantity, the staff is always refreshingly happy and friendly!
There is a cozy gallery, but that get’s sweaty hot in summer - but then you better sit in the beer garden anyway…

Always a top recommendation!
