Every single confectionary you could dream of. Mr Simms likes to kick it old school. With a traditional victorian-esque decor and spectacular sweet themed window displays, this shop supplies both traditional and modern sweeties. This place really attracts the tourists in cambridge, so can get quite busy!

This shop is jam packed from floor to ceiling with old fashioned sweet jars. I could spend all day looking at all the varieties of sweets and chocolates they have to offer. Great for gifts, or to treat yourself! The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is lovely in this quaint and unusual sweet shop.

Across from the round church in Cambridge where the cigar shop used to be is the world of Mr Simms and his sweets.
Harry Potter or Willy Wonka would not be out of place in this store. Street level and then another smaller level down the spiral cast iron staircase.
Downstairs seems to be the more luxurious stuff with the special offer stuff on the wall of the stairs going down (2 for a £5 kind of thing).
Wall to wooden wall of jars, packets and tins of every kind of tooth rotting delights. Pricey but you are paying for the experience one feels.
Seemed to have everything but one of my party was looking for Macaroon bars and none to be found.
With a little more research I found out it was a franchise and it took a little bit of the magic sparkle away.
If your sweet toothed (if I keep this up, no toothed) you'll enjoy it.
