I WAS VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE LEVEL OF SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM BERKETEX BRIDES, ONCE THEY HAD MY MONEY I FELT THEY DIDNT WANT NOTHING MORE TO DO WITH ME. I WAS TOLD TO WRITE TO HEAD OFFICE AS THE STORE IN WHICH I PAID MY MONEY NOW HAVE NO CONTROL WHEN ORDERS ARE PLACED. WROTE TO HEAD OFFICE TO RECEIVE A MIXED RESPONSE, OR SHOULD I SAY LACK OF RESPONSE AS MY SITUATION WAS FINALLY RESOLVED AFTER ME MAKING AROUND 10 CALLS. IN THE END IM LOSING OUT AND FORCED TO PAY EXTRA MONEY FOR A DRESS I DO NOT WANT.

Well where do i start my partner and i was getting marries and she had placed a order for the dress with Berketex with your friendly Berketex store in portsmonth with a cost of over £2000 she paid £500 as a deposit 1 month later we have split up and you would have throught that Berketex would have given her some of the money back but NO and the dress is not even made so BERKETEX are getting £500 out of spits i think that if you buy anything from this shop you need you head read

Went to my fitting at Berketex last week and I am ecstatic with my wedding dress. When I first went in about seven months ago to choose my dress I found a gorgeous style that suited me down to the ground and was everything I wanted in a wedding dress. After waiting very patiently my own dress came in last week and it was perfect. It fit like a glove, no alterations needed, and looks even better than i had remembered. I can't wait to pick it up ready for the big day and also can't wait for everyone's reaction to my gorgeous 'dream wedding dress!'

Awful. Don’t be fooled by the 20% one day only discount they offer! They really have got it all wrong at this company. Their customer service and aftersales are appalling and they are only after your money. Their complaints procedure is a joke and don’t expect any compensation or apologies when they mess up. I experienced a nightmare with them but was lucky enough to be able to get my dress off them and take it to a friendly local bridal shop who were interested in me and my wedding. Think carefully before stepping foot in Berketex!

Booked an appointment at Portsmouth several weeks in advance but there were 3 other brides so it was tricky to get any mirror space or the attention of the staff. I was very unhappy with the whole experience as I wasn’t allowed to even try on 2 of the sale dresses I asked for and they put them back on the rail! They used high pressure sales tactics to get the order, I was measured incorrectly (twice) and wasn’t informed of any of the special offers regarding free bridesmaids dresses which I later saw on the website.
Worst of all, they lied to me and said that all future dress alterations would be included if I bought a dress NOT on sale….but then I found out that this wasn’t true. I cancelled the order with the store and Head Office within 24 hours but, 2 days later, they still went ahead and placed the order.
Head Office didn’t reply to my numerous emails, 2 letters or 3 phone calls and, when I finally managed to speak to someone, he promised to investigate and contact me again in 7 days….but didn’t. Finally, AFTER THREE WEEKS, I lost patience and told them I would be going to Small Claims Court. Only then did we get a refund of the money we had paid (almost £500). Appalling customer service but I was one of the lucky ones! Plenty of brides-to-be have had worse experiences and, if you are even considering this company, just type “Berketex Brides reviews” into Google and you may think again.

Got my wedding dress from this shop last year after visiting a couple of shops before hand.

They definitely stood out when it comes to customer service and the lady who helped me knew exactly what I was looking for and produced a range of dresses for me to try on.

They didnt mind my mum, grandmother and cousin being with me either which was nice. And even though it was a Saturday and they were very busy, they made me feel as though I was the only one in the shop.

Dress is being delivered to them in May, which is when I go in for my first dress fitting!
