Review of De Nederlandsche Bibliotheek from 1 April 2008

Not many people know that in the Western Cape you can also find the largest library dedicated to Dutch literature outside of the Netherlands. Situated in the peaceful suburb of Pinelands in the ‘Huis der Nederlande’, the library has a collection of over 30,000 books, CDs, DVDs, videos and magazines. It often hosts lectures and film shows on Dutch culture and there’s a mini market selling typically Dutch delicatessen every second Saturday. Coffee and tea is also available.
