Old Biscuit Mill's Saturday Market

If this place was not so over crowded it would be worth many stars. However, as it presently is, I would give it zero stars. It was impossible to enjoy as you could barely move from stall to stall let alone see what all the offerings were. It is a victim of its own success. I would suggest extending the hours or better yet extending the days of the market.

The Old Biscuit Mill in Albert Road, Woodstock has become the new stomping ground of Cape Town’s organic hippies and other creative souls. Busy and incredibly viby, you can purchase a large variety of bread, cheeses, preserves, confectionaries and fresh produce. If you can find yourself a spot on one of the long benches, you can enjoy coffee or juice with some mouthwatering waffles. There’s also plenty of other ready-to-eat meals to choose from - Oriental, Mediterranean or vegetarian, to name but a few.
