The Good Yarn, Uxbridge

This is a wetherspoons pub that serves the usual wetherspoons food menu and cheap drinks. The place is very dated inside and would benefit from a really good spruce up and redecoration. The carpet as you enter the premises is very worn and sticky, giving you that walking on the moon sensation.

The food itself is fine (same as most Wetherspoons). Typical pub food really, generally quite cheap and tasty. Food is delivered reasonably quickly by friendly staff.

However, there are much better pubs to eat out at in Uxbridge such as the Fig Tree or the Queens Head. This place should be reserved for the times the other places are full or the times you can't be bothered to leave the place that's serving the cheapest drinks!!!

A bit smaller than most wetherspoons, and within walking distance from many good pubs. Prices are good however I found an older crowd seems to gather here. Not the place to go and see the TV since they only seem to have BBC news.

Serve food in day, very tasty and reasonable.
Great selection of drinks. Cheap prices.
Always friendly bar staff.
Bit annoying if you cant get somewhere to sit, or stand to the side, you end up in the middle with people pushing n shoving to get past!

A great place to start on a night out. The drinks are really cheap here. Despite the crowded bar you get served rather quickly, considering. The place is heaving before 11 as it is the starting point for the club goers. Expect to pay around £5.00 for a jug of cocktail! Good atmosphere although rather noisy.
