No offices to visit, everything is done online and you can hire the vehicle for as long as you want anytime of the day or night. It couldn't be simpler or more convenient and the prices are very competitive also!

This was my first experience using Icanhire and I was impressed. Once I had registered my driving licence the service was very easy to use and fully automated. I definitely recommend Icanhire and will use them again.

I Live in North London and finding a van at short notice was proving to be not impossible but to involve all my needs was almost impossible Icanhire was ever so easy to search locate the size vehicle and reserve at such ease was perfect.

I was happy the vans so far are newish and without any major dents and marks is great to, I would recommend Icanhire to everyone even my boss finds the service easy.

I found Icanhire online and at first was a bit dubious about it being remote system but given that the price was significantly less than some local companies I thought it was worth a shot. I made an enquiry on line and received a callback for my driver license & payment details. The operator was very helpful and explained how everything works which gave me confidence in the system and reassured me that if I had any problems they would be there to help. The email with all the details of my booking and instructions on what to do once I got to the van was very clear and entriely accurate - not always the case with other companies. The van was in good condition, clean, and was just the job for moving my funiture about. When I returned it I followed the instructions and left the van safely where I'd collected it from. As soon as I'd returned the vehicle I had an email confirming my booking was closed and registering that I had put the correct amount of fuel in the van so there would be no further charges. I've been stung by a different hire company for fuel before so was impressed with this system once again. All my qualms about the remote system are completely gone, and it's a very Mission Impossible way to hire a van - I've already recommended it to friends & family!

I needed to hire a van to take some rubbish to a municipal refuse tip - not the most exciting reason to hire a vehicle I grant you but you can understand why value for money and convenience were high on my priority list.
Being a techno philistine I was a bit worried as to how the whole 'automated' process would work, but I found it as painless as the site suggests. Even when I had a specific question surrounding the fuel policy I just called the helpline and was dealt with in a friendly and helpful manner. Picking up and dropping off the vehicle was a breeze even for such a tech numpty such as my good self. There is something rather exciting about pressing a few buttons on your phone and hearing the re-assuring click of the vehicle locking (thankfully I had remembered to get out of the vehicle before completing this procedure, otherwise the helpline may not have been so understanding!). One of the major benefits was not having to pay for weekend hire evn though I dropped the vehicle off on Sunday morning.
I wouldn't hesitate to utilise the service again or recommend to a friend (actually I've already done this to a mate who used to work in 'analogue' care hire and he found it a revelation).

VANTASTIC

I needed a van to do a 300 mile round trip and Icanhire popped up on the google search. All seemed a bit too good to be true in terms of price and convenience. I booked it anyway and followed all the simple instructions. It turned out to be one of my better decisions. Everything was easy and quick from the moment I arrived and picked up the van to the moment I returned it. I would have no hesitation in recommending Icanhire to anyone who will listen. Brilliant concept, brilliant service.

Totally excellent deal. I did not have to work around the opening hours of a rental office. Oicked it up in the dead of night and returned it early hours.

Didn't have pay congestion charge and parking was easy

All done online. very simple and efficient.

Was amazed at the system they have.
Once I'd arranged the vehicle I wanted online, they sent me an address to collect the vehicle from, then called a number and the van was unlocked by phone!! the keys were then inside the glovebox! very impressed.
Was very cheap and unlike most companies they have an option to return on a sunday, making it far more cost effective. and when it was returned to the place I collected it from, I just left the keys in the glovebox, called the same number, and they locked the van again remotely.
They also calculate exactly how much fuel has been used remotely, so you don't have to fill up and try to work out how much fuel you'll need. All in all a very impressive system.

I had a very good experience with ican hire. Very east to book, locate the vehicle, pick up and drop off. Perfect for use on a sunday when most other hire places are either not open or close early. Booking was smooth. Quality of vehicle was good. My van cost £63 for the day (including excess waiver) and less than £40 for fuel (which covered a lot of driving). Would definitely use them again.

The process of registering was really easy. Booking the van for moving some furniture was simple - on-line and straightforward. No problems locating the van, which was in great condition and exactly what we needed. Definitely use icanhire again.

Second time using icanhire in the space of two months, it's great value and vans are in great condition. There's no fuss of paperwork, book all online and and pick car up at allocated spot - also enjoyed
calling the automated service to unlock and lock van after drop off. Feels hassle free, paperwork free and does the job. The overtime charge is reasonable too and there's no hidden charges. Thumbs up from me.

Easy to book, van was easy to find. Easy to unlock. Van was used for a house move and was in pretty good usable condition. No hassle customer sevrice. Easy to drop off. All in all, great value van rental.

Simple,straightforward-did exactly what it said in their advert!

I needed to hire a van for a few hours. Icanhire offered the best rates, and by-the-hour hire which was ideal. I booked the initial hire on their web site. Their customer services lady called me back immediately and the registration, licence checks etc were all dealt with quickly and efficiently. I received confirmation emails at each stage, offered clear instructions as to where and how to collect the vehicle and return. I found the whole experience simple, straightforward and hassle-free, and I like the fact that further bookings will now be even easier as you only have to register once

Used them twice for vans now, no problems

Maybe they've now got their act together, but the negative reviews on this site didn't match my experience at all. The initial signup was pleasant and hassle-free and booking the second van on the web was swift and easy as it didn't need any phone contact.

The second job overran and I had to extend the booking 3 times. This was easily accomplished with quick and pleasant phone calls and all in all I was extremely impressed. Being able to collect the vans from local streets without having to drive to a hire depots location made it so much less hassle.

I would recommend this company to anyone.

I found it very easy to book and pick from a location near me. I liked the simplicity and speed of the phone locking and unlocking. No hanging around waiting in queues.

Its condition was fine for a van. A few old dents but seemed mechanically sound and very clean inside.

company phoned me to say previous hirer would be late which made time tight for me but they gave me a discount.

Liked the idea of the fuel card but didn't need to use it.

I used a van from icanhire to move house. I hired from 8 in the morning until 6 in the evening and it only cost me around £40.

You receive a series of texts telling you the location of the vehicle and then you just call up and enter a few numbers and the car unlocks and you can jump in.

Pros

Cheap
Easy
Hassle-Free

Cons

Dirty Vehicle inside and out
Not suitable for people that don't mix well with technology

All in all I think it's such a clever idea with no waiting around. A really cool automated service!
