This is a leisure centre with a difference. It is very hard to believe that they can fit so many sports within such a small enclosure. It is possible to participate in numerous activities and classes are available for all age groups and all levels.
Membership is available for juniors, adults and senior citizens and with membership, the majority of activities are reduced. For those on benefits membership is available at a reduced rate and furhter discounts are available, which I beleive is highly commendable.
A free one day trial membership is available and so, anyone who lives within the vicinity and feels that they should be more active should deifinitely visit the Sobell. I am sure that you will not be disapointed…
For those who do not wish to be over-active, there are some activities that are not so demanding and the sobell is a great place to take the kids. Try the ice skating rink, it is excellent fun…

Sobell Leisure Centre, Is A Place To Hang Around, Relax And Have Alot Of Fun, As They Have A Various Of Activites Displayed To The Public Such As Football, Badmionton,Basketball,Tramponling,Bouncy Castle,Gym And Ice Skating.

A large leisure center containin a gym, ice rink, rock climbing walls, trampolines and a large sports hall. The gym is small but has most of the usual equiptment. The ice rink is too dark but it’s the only indoor one nearby. The sports hall hosts a variety of activities and clubs throughout the week including childrens ones at the weekend e.g. badminton and basketball. The cost varies depending on the activity but is very affordable when compared to other locations.
