I visited this shop in Dulwich with my hopes up but was a little disappointed with it be to honest. However, the place is a sweet tooth’s dream and I was like a silly little school boy when i saw the selection of sweets they had! Amazing selection, I must say!
The downsides in my mind were the price as well as needing to buy a minimum amount of each type of sweet out of the jars where as I wanted to get a mix of all different sorts and try lots of different sweets. That was a bit hard to do unless I wanted to spend a small fortune.
The truffles weren’t particularly to my taste, not chocolately enough and really really sweet.
If you’re looking for a nostalgic trip to an old fashioned candy shop then this is the place for you but don’t expect great things from the chocolate like I was, go there if you have a massive sweet tooth!

For those of you that think back nostalgically to your quarter of sherbert lemons, cola kubes or bon bons this is the place for you. This is a traditional sweet shop stocking every thing any sugar fiend could ever desire. As well as choosing your quarter of sweets from the jar there is pick and mix, hand made sweets and chocolates and gifts. This is a real trip down memory lane and if you are anything like me you will come out laden with small packages containing flying saucers, nut brittle, coconut mushrooms and giant gobstoppers with a massive grin on your face and a craving for that sugar high.
