I’ve been eating in Bawarchi since it opened (when it was originally called Anjams) and it has been consistently the best Indian/Bengali restaurant that I have ever been to (trust me, I’ve tried loads all over West London and beyond). I lived in Ladbroke Grove for many years and I have tried all the local ‘Curry Houses’ and none can compete with Bawarchi. I moved away from the area but I still go to Bawarchi at least once a month. The staff are always friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is fantastic and I have never had a bad meal there. The restaurant now gets very busy on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings therefore I would suggest giving them a call before turning up. If you like Indian food then give Bawarchi a try.

Definitely Kensal Rise's best kept secrets. Get food and service. Have had takeway from here as well and it was just as good. I'll be going back for more.

The decor is elegant, stylish and modern, with romantic lighting. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is exceptional. We have both eaten in, and have had take-away and I have no complaints about this place.
