The Serrano Hotel is part of the Kimpton Group, which runs a couple of very nice “Boutique” Hotels across the US. All hotels have an individual, but also unique “touch” and you immediately feel at home when you enter the Lobby.

Everything in the Serrano makes you feel like being on a vacation to the Mediterranean Sea. The rooms are nice, big and well equipped.

Unfortunately this all comes with a price and makes it hard for me to stay there again on my trips to the US. But I always check the availability and rates of the Serrano first, before booking anything else. I recommend to stay there at least once!

The San Francisco hotel embodies the spirit of San Francisco. It is a beautiful 17-story Spanish revival building in the heart of downtown. This hotel offers a sense of fun and escape from the ordinary.

We were upgraded to a king size suite (17 th floor corner suite) which was amazing. Views in two directions over the city.
The suite was very well equipped as you would expect with a large bathroom and separate lounge area.
All the staff were friendly and knowlegdeable about the city and only too willing to help in any way.
Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant and is really good value for money.
The decor is outstanding, really atmospheric of the 20’s and 30’s when the hotel was built. All in all one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in in the US
