beautiful settings really nice atmosphere... one problem the food is way over priced and not much selection. Go for a drink or two but wouldnt bother eating there anymore. shame.

Atmosphere is great as are the surroundings. Food used to be good superior quality pub food. On the last three visits the food has been seriously bad - even the fish and chips - which makes you aware of how expensive it is. Time to go somewhere else.

Everything about this pub is great. The building is beautiful, and has a cosy, welcoming, interior. The staff are friendly and the service is very good. There’s a really good choice of food and the quality is excellent. Id particularly recommend the garden for a drink with friends or an atmospheric meal in the summer.

The Wild Duck Inn is an interesting collection of buildings, some of which date back to 1563. The buildings surround a courtyard which forms a lovely green oasis in the summer, and the building is covered in greenery in summer.

The bar area is typical old village pub: very old-world with dark wood, uneven stone flags, stuffed animals and humerous plaques. The staff are friendly and helpful.

You can eat in the bar or a separate dining area, but either way the food is tasty with a few specials on the blackboard.

There are a dozen room of varying cost and quality, but all are comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is cheap and good quality.
