Unfortunately I got food poisoning from this place. I had the chicken curry. I know it was from them because it was the morning after the curry I was violently ill. Doctors asked me to provide a stool sample and confirmed it was Campylobacter food poisoning, undercooked chicken. When I complained I didn’t get an apology just. ‘We can’t see how it could be from us. We cook thousands of dishes and have had no complaints.’ I’ll not be going there again. My girlfriend had beef curry and she was fine.

This is my favorite chinese in Keighley, we prefer to order takeaway as it is quite a bit cheaper than eating in (although we've not been on their offer nights). As previous posters have said the food tastes freshly cooked and not salty, delivery is always fast and prawn crackers are always free!
As was mentioned before the portions are slighty smaller than your average takeaway but I think it's more than enough with a side of rice for one person and sometimes a bit too filling if like me you also have to have soup and a starter....the crispy chilli beef is a must to share!!

Great little restaurant, have only been on a Sunday and had the set menu but have been impressed with each time we have been.

Staff friendly and always around, not over priced and food always fresh and warm.

Was my daughters birthday one visit and the staff made her feel special bringing a cake out (which they didn't charge us for) and playing Happy Birthday music.

There is a car park opp in Keighley Plumbers.

Menu wth variety choice, tasty with big portion, not too oily or salty like lots of chinese restaurant. Convenient location and its worth to wait for such quality food even it is full house.

The restaurant was recommended to me by a friend so we thought we would try it out instead of our usual takeaway.

I was very impressed, the food is very well prepared, not too salty like many Chinese dishes can be.

The staff are friendly and attentive and the prices are fair considering the quality.

The only downside is lack of parking but its worth a short walk.

i was very dissapointed in the orient. i must say it is a loveley restaurant , decor wise, service wise and everything i would expect from a chinese restaurant but for one thing. we came away feeling not sufficed the portion were very small, and if i had ordered the self same thing where we usually go, we would not have gone home and made cheese on toast. such a shame for a loveley restaurant.

This little gem tucked away in the centre of Keighley is truly the finest restaurant of its genre in this area. Wonderful atmosphere, delightful staff and mouth watering menu! Great Early bird 4 course menu available …........it is well worth starving yourself the whole day for. Crispy beef and the beef Satay , I would quite easily kill for! Do not let this be hidden any longer, look it up and get down as soon as possible.

Hidden away down a cobbled street near the main roundabout up to Oakworth. I would say one of the better Chinese restaurants in the Keighley area. I enjoy going here and in my opinion would choose to go here for a set menu rather than go to the nearby Chinese buffet on Church green. Food tastes freshly cooked and service is excellent
