Definitely my favourite pub. I went to the Oktoberfest in Germany for the 6th time last year and after last Saturday night I can honestly say that this is the closest thing to beerfest I have experienced outside of Munich. The beers were HUGE and the food authentic and in MASSIVE portions. Great atmosphere. The German band was litte loud when we were there but the drinking games were fun and it was really worth the effort! I give it a big thumbs up great fun!

I came here for dinner on a Friday night and what a great atmosphere! It was a lot different to the Saturday night Parties they are famous for! The atmosphere was super relaxed and excenuated by the live acoustic music they had on. I was with a group of 5 who have all been to Oktoberfest and needed a pork knuckle fix! The knuckles were awesome! Huge portions and tender, tender meat! All washed down with great beer!

Where to start...I love beer and love food!!
I came with a group of friends and we decided to go for the table/dinner package. This was a great option for us as it meant we had a table right in front of the band, although we did get picked on for the drinking games - hilariously funny!!
The food was amazing... and huge portions (this venue does live up to the advertising as the food and atmosphere is just like the Oktoberfest...great fun and lots of it!!)
The dinner also included a litre stein of great german beer so this was perfect to wash down the massive pork knuckle and perfect saurkraut.
Another bonus for us was that as we dressed up in german outfits we all got a free shot of Jagermeister.
Staff were all very friendly and attentive and mostly german (very authentic).
All in all we had a fantastic time, awesome fun atmosphere, great food with large portions, great choice of different beers, and really nice staff to boot! A fresh change from many other venues.
We all had a fantastic night, the place was packed and everyone was having a great time.
Another bonus is that this venue is in a lovely part of Fulham and easily accessible.
We will be back for more dancing on the chairs!!! Thanks.

Went here last night to watch Germany defeat Turkey in the euro 2008. £5 cover charge which i found a bit steep, but all in all, the staff were very friendly and effecient, although the lederhosens i saw could do with a launder!
Good spirited crowd of Germans for the match, although I’m not sure how it would compare with any other night at ‘The Fest’.
They have £9 1L steins of Paulaner beer, and if you are after a snack, there are pretzels a-plenty, dried wurst, and a £5 pint and snack-size pie deal. The hot bratwurst and sauerkraut is good also.
Not sure why so many pubs in London are left to fall apart. Refurbs are always a good idea to revive a tired looking interior!
I definitely wouldn’t come here for a regular social night, but it is great for watching sports in good company.
