After multiple return visits: Benefit of the doubt I'll click the fourth star (in reality 3.5). Chorizo cooked in Sherry and the Pulpo are dynamite dishes. Service is prompt despite crowding. I like it enough to return often.

Pretty good Tapas downtown Frankfurt.

Unusual... I give three stars despite a serious ding. Seems the sherry is watered down. They should have known better than to serve it to my GF who has a degree in oenology. Doh! But.... the chorizo was to die for, Pulpo was magnificent. Other tapas were good. Would return just for the Chorizo.

Warning... place is crowded... and the sherry is watered down. Otherwise good to go.

Review of Buena Vista from 22 April 2010

Completely packed on a thursday night and I have no idea why. Service is fine, pretty quick and efficient, but what you come for in a restaurant, food, is below average. They try to serve traditional food in a fancy way, I suggest to concentrate in taste - fajita served on a hot stone and burried under cheese with strange sauces- what is that? Gambas al ajillo tasting like done in old olive oil, no. Not again.
