Stumbled across this hair salon when on a walk and in desperate need of a haircut. Even better, the sign said ‘hair models required’. Bonus! Called up the next day and after a bit of to and fro, I was booked in with a student (always a risk) on a Monday.
The salon itself is nothing fancy, the obligatory hair product model posters, plenty of mags, and a ‘house under renovation’ look. Not that I really cared. Plenty of hairdressers with plain hairstyles on hand, and of course, to help.
I got given a cup of tea and biscuits and plenty of good mags to read. The student did a really good job even though she was nervous and I left the salon feeling great! Excellent when it was free!
Would definitely consider returning if I was to pay, but I do recommend you see if they still require hair models.
