Offering generous-sized portions of ‘homestyle’ Italian/American cooking, F&B’s temporarily transports you to ‘50’s America. Sit in the leatherette booths and sip chilled drinks as you admire the black and white ‘family’ photos displayed on the walls, and listen to classic sounds of the period.
The waiting staff are dressed the part, in austere black with sharp white aprons. Service is generally speedy (if you avoid Friday and Saturday evenings) and the food is tasty and tempting. No great surprises on the menu though, but as least you’ll know that even the fussiest eaters will be happy. Kids have their own menu and free activity pack, and there is also a great value-for-money 2 or 3 course lunchtime deal not to be missed.
