Service was terrible!!! lucky to get a star!!! greeted rudely at the door by a bold man!! served by an even ruder mixed race man!!! disgusting service… didnt get what we asked for or what we wanted. drinks came in half an hour.. food in 50 mins.. no apology.. we were made to feel like we were inconveinent. asked for deserts menu… didnt get it.. went over to the till and managed to find one myslef. the waiter asked where i got it from and looked very disappointed that i managed to find one!! asked for cheescake… didnt get it??? and bill came 40 mins later and everything on it was wrong.. MY ADVICE… DONT GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

Went on a saturday night round about 6.30, was not quite packed, but yet service was quite slow. we were in a corner booth so felt a bit forgotten about. Having said that though the food was very good, and i would definitely go back again.

always go here before the cinema-if you say you only have hour then they serve quick as they can. traditional american style restaurant-great jazz playing. mammas dishes on menue-italian and american style. the pastas and pizzas are fab-burgers brilliant and then special dishes. very nice atmosphere-can be pricey if go for 3 courses and side dishes and drinks so set a budget when you go and you should be ok. always a pleasure to visit. good atmosphere at bar if just want drink

Chiquito’s is a restaurant which didn’t live up to my expectation’s in terms of quality which wasn’t great however the service was brilliant which I loved and increased this review from a 1 star to a 2 star. Recommended if you wanna go to a place where you can chill with mates but don’t eat here!

I love Mexican food so I did enjoy my time in Chiquitos. I found the food to be very tasty and the portions were very filling! The service was good but it wasn’t the fastest in the world so don’t go here if you are in a rush. I would say the food was good value for money and better than Frankie & Benny’s which is located next door. All in all, I would say this is a good place to go while in Purley Way whether you are visiting the cinema, bowling alley or just there to do some shopping.

Huge portions, plenty of choice and a lively atmosphere greet you. Service however is slow and slapdash, so don’t head here if you’re in a hurry. Typical Cajun seasoning and traditional Tex Mex flavours tempt the palette with fajitas, enchiladas and vegetarian options all available. There is also a children’s menu. Colourful cocktails and calorific desserts also entice, so this is not the place to visit if you’re trying to stick to a diet.
Although portions are large the bill is expensive, when you consider the level of service and variety of food offered. If you’re planning a one-off treat however, Chiquito’s vibrant setting is just the place for your fiesta.
