1 review of The Thrifty Stitcher in English
Just back from the one to one tuition classes with Thrifty Stitcher. I was determined to find a really good tutor and good value for money. I felt very lucky when I actually found what I had wanted at Thrifty Stitcher.
The tutor at Thrifty Stitcher was very welcoming and the studio was lovely and homely. In fact, the whole atmosphere put me at ease. I just kept on ‘throwing questions’ at the tutor about my problematic areas in sewing. She never thought twice. I was actually delighted to get the samples we made together to take home with me.
I believe Ms Hardie is one of the most knowledgeable, patient, caring, passionate tutors I have ever had. An expert in her field, I believe she can teach any level from beginners to advanced. All the information was explained so well and clear that I have hardly got any questions any more about the jackets and some bits and bobs! Having spent a working day together with Claire -Louise Hardie,I received not only what I requested, but I also obtained a wealth of knowledge about other important stuff too that I didn’t even expect to learn about. This was a bonus.
I highly recommend Thrifty Stitcher services absolutely to anyone. Regardless of whether you are a complete beginner, you just want to learn how to make her own dress or use a Vogue pattern right through to an advanced student like myself. Although I will be back as you can never know it all! :)
