A good restaurant with a cozy ambience and friendly service. all 4 people it was good and when we are back in bristol we come back
We dropped in for the lunch menu: a real bargain at £8.50 for two courses. The style is relaxed, with fishy-themed decor, and service friendly. The food was absolutely superb: tasty and perfectly-cooked calamari with sweet chili sauce; whole mackerel with a flavoured butter and fat, crispy chips; and our neighbours' desserts also looked temptingly good!
I definitely plan on visiting this restaurant again. The set menus in particular offer excellent value for money.

Been there a couple of times now. Enjoyed. Casual and probably not the cheapest but good reliable food. Staff are friendly and attentive. We will go back. If you want a seafood meal without suffering the outrageous and over-promised stuff you can find elsewhere, this is the place to go. Recommended.

Popped into Fishers with my mom, Was totally rammed as they do an early saver menu so came back at 7 pm and sat at a tucked away table for two in this quirkily sea themed fish restaurant. We were certainly glad that we did, a heaving bowl of super hot beautiful crisp fresh whitebait with an herb mayonaise, followed by salmon fishcakes, full of scottish salmon and home grown new potatoes and salad from their gardens with a bowl of minted peas and beans of the same provenance. Simple and delicious. My grand marnier creme brulee let me down only in the fact it was not as super as the previous courses. Excellent wine and the service was fantastically fast and friendly and the bill was fair, specially as it was mums treat!! Its on my favourite list and should be on yours if in Bristol, be warned, book early.

A really really good restaurant. Fast attentive service, great food, nice atmosphere. They run a good shop!! The deals are okay. Not amazingly cheap but probably worth the quality food. Champagne and Prosecco by the glass is a nice bonus.

Finally a restaurant where fish was not hidden under some thick and heavy sauce, finally no coleslaw salad and no chips (u choose potatoes or chips).
Very good food, nice to sit and lovely waitress. So highly recommended.

Been here a couple of times lovely food very simple but there should be nothing complicated about a good fresh fish, they let the food speak for itself and serve most things very simply with a sauce and a few new potatoes.
My only criticism is that it can be a little over priced and the dining room upstairs could be better but that’s my opinion I know lot’s of people like it for what it is!

Fishers is a great (guess what) seafood restaurant. They offer a fantastic A la carte menu and a really good early bird menu which is fantastic value. I have had really delicious fishcakes there and the most amazing Cornish crab. They always serve wonderful bread and gorgeous desserts. They also serve champagne by the glass (or kir royale) which is great if you want a treat but don’t want to blow the budget. This is a really good place if you want to catch up with your friends in a relaxing atmosphere whilst having beautiful food. I thoroughly recommend this place: really nice but not poncy!

If Fishers was a pub it would be my local. I come here all the time- it’s very un-poncy with friendly down-to-earth staff and a fantastic daily changing menu. As I am skint most of the time I try and take advantage of the early dining menu, where selected main courses are only a fiver. I tend to drink too much on these occasions too but that’s okay because the wine list is well priced and a bottle of house plonk is only about £12. I’ve had many a happy time there and always look forward to going there.
