My taste buds were pleased that they got to know Ginger Jar canapes at the Qype Summer Party media session! Really amazing (such a difference from the regular drab that finger food often is at sessions like that!). The only danger is that nothing else will taste great ever again.
There is one thing I didn't like about Ginger Jar Food.
It's the fact that I got to try two of their canapes at the entrance of Qype's Summer Party(it was fresh, savoury, minty) but, after that, I wasn't able to find any more of them.
Gone, disappeared. Over.
Argh, I need more.
I tasted these canapes at teh Qype Summer Party media session and they were absolut delicious!
Ginger Jar canapes have made their impression at the Qype Summer Party media session last wednesday!!
I was the one circulating around the journalists and bloggers to offer those fabulous little bits and I can tell that everybody was asking for more and couldn't stop repeating how delicious they were!
Also, as I was serving them I was lucky enough to try each of the 5 different type of canapes served (AahhAah) and they were all to die for... I want more peas and mint crostini and Chorizo baskets with feta and roast tomato, it was so delicious!!!
Have a look at their website, I really like the section 'What would Jenny do...'!
If you want to be sure to impress your guests for a party, a wedding or any corporate event, I would really recommend Ginger Jar Food.
AgatheThePower Yes Alex, one of each, I know Im really lucky :-) & they were all gorgeous!

I was one of the ones to be lucky enough to sample the Ginger Jar Food canapés at the Qype summer party before they ran out, which was very quickly as they were really nice and very tasty. Perfectly bite-sized little packets of deliciousness.
Ginger Jar delivered canape heaven at Qype's stylish summer event in Brick Lane last night. Wish I'd stolen more before the last tray disappeared. Just proves that good manners never helped anyone. The Jar factor simply MAKES a corporate event. Impressive.
Amazing chorizos sausage/tomato/feta canapés during the Qype Summer Party yesterday ! Perfect and so smart with some champagne !
I've only tried the vegetarian canapes at the Qype Summer Party yesterday, but I can say they were amazing. and it seems the fellow Qypers agree as they cleared the trays within minutes. Good enough to make me want to try some more stuff from these guys.
Some of the amazing canapés by Ginger Jar were circulating at the Qype Summer Party last night, and I managed to try a few before they disappeared (quicker than I'd have liked, actually).
I had a lot of trouble tearing myself away from the incredible chorizo, feta and sun-dried tomato canapé. They get five stars for that alone. Definitely recommended, if you're the dinner party-throwing type.
I second gordonwhite's review of GJ at the Qype Summer Party. A very welcome canapé for hungry queuers, and an asbolutely great idea using chorizo as the case.
I look forward to following Jenny on Twitter and seeing what else she comes up with!
GRIMEIGHTIESALEX Only when I'm serving breakfast in bed. In fact, that gives me an idea for a pop-up...

Yum, that's about it. I would give 5 but can anything be that perfect?

Okay so these guys are catering the Qype Summer Party right now and they rock! Whatever salami/tomato/feta canapé I just ate was off the hook.
The server vanished before I could take a photo but picture using a folded salami slice as a bowl with roasted cherry tomato and feta in it.
Steal this idea!
The GJ experience we got when they catered for our ski chalet in France was top notch, particularly given they had to improvise for the vagaries of the local supermarket! Tasty and interesting menus, and service with a smile. They even managed to squeeze in a cooking lesson for me... what more could you ask for.
I and my ski buddies hired Jenny to cater for us at our rented chalet in the Ski resort of St Martin de Belleville in the French Alps, in January of this year. We were all very much impressed with Jenny’s culinary skills. Professionally turning out lovely three course meals each evening for 10-12 friends, for a whole week and not to mention freshly prepared breakfast each morning. Jenny was our only chef; it never ceased to amaze us, how she calmly went about delivering such excellent food from an unfamiliar kitchen and never losing her cool. Probably the best catered chalet food we’ve ever had. Truly amazing! She also skis like she cooks; very well.

Jenny has been fantastic advising us on e-marketing and has been very involved in helping us build our new website - which we hope to launch soon. Her years of experience in IT marketing and her understanding of Leiths, having been a former student, has been invaluable.
Jenny's food and enthusiasm combined were unbeatable in providing the best home catered meal I have ever had. The rest of the time I use GJ's recipes and sadly my own cooking to try to recreate her excellence
The Ginger Jar website and newsletters are not only a visual treat but are full of inspiration. Within a day or so of getting the newsletter I'm trying out a new recipe; they're always easy to follow and produce amazing results.
I used GJ's "What would Jenny do?" service first and was so impressed with the rapid response and great cooking suggestions that I booked Jenny for a private dinner party. Fantastic is the only description I can think of and not only was the food great but all the other small details were taken care of.
Next up is a cooking course I've booked for next week. Can't wait.

I've never eaten anything prepared by Ginger Jar's top chef that was anything less than divine. Highly recommended.
GJ provide such an excellent service - I used them for catering a party. It was completely hassle free, the food was incredible - fresh, tasty not the usual boring party food... far more interesting. They helped me decide the menu and it exceeded my expectations. I'd highly recommend them.
Am thinking about booking a cooking class very soon - they've inspired me!
