The indescribible power of nature to move one through its beauty is nowhere more apparent than here. A Unesco World Heritage site, and Croatia’s finest National Park, to catergorise it at an area of ‘outstanding natural beauty’ simply does not do it justice.

A complex of natural lakes and connecting waterfalls that are about as photogenic as anywhere you’ll find in the world, you’ll find some fantastic walks with plenty of spots to sit down with your sandwiches and just take it all in. Beware some of the pathways though - the health and safety brigade have not discovered this place yet - and it is a long way down.

Breathtaking and awesome.
