A lovely local near Ealing hospital. Delicious food with some Polish dishes, and good fish dishes. Roast lunch on Sundays (lunch or evening) are very good. Cheap set menus in the evenings are also very good value. It is a Fullers pub, sometimes has guest ales. There is a homely child’s play area in side (think this may be for the landlady’s children), and a sizeable beer garden at the back. A good size car park and smokers area with umbrellas, picnic benches and flowers. Staff are very friendly. The pub is smart; and an excellent place to take your mum! Just by the pub there is the old viaduct bridge – you can have a nice walk around here which goes onto Ealing golf course, or if you cross over the road you can walk down to the canal.
