I have a sneaky feeling that AB survives purely on kitting out student digs every year. Where else can you buy everything for a flat/bedsit…including a bin, toilet brush, plates, knives & fork, scups, saucers, spanners, tool kits, tool belts, drill bits, trays, pictures, mops and buckets, batteries, sun glasses, glasses, towels, tea towels, bath mats, rugs, shelves and thousands of other things and get change out of £3 for most items. It will be a real shame when they knock down AB to make way for the new shopping precinct next year.

Excellent shop for all those consumables you don’t need to pay quality for. I’ve bought batteries, DVD-Rs, toilet cleaner, doorstops, lightbulbs, kitchen utensils, kitchen roll, plastic buckets, a cheap set of tools for the car, all sorts of odds and ends. It’s a better choice than a pound store: they have things that actually cost a couple of pounds. Go near the holidays when their Christmas, Halloween, or whatever tat gets rolled out. Cheap cheap cheap.

No matter what you want you can get it here. They sale absolutely everything. When I moved into my first flat I didn’t have so many things. I walked pass that store and on the outside you can see some of the things they have on display like baskets, storage boxes, cleaning equipment and many others. When you walk in the store then I only realised there was a lot more things in there from light bulbs to pots and pans and colouring books for kids. If anyone need any household things this is the place go get them. The prices are reasonable and yet the quality is good.
