I have been to many Indian restaurants over the years, and always look to have an Indian meal before a match, following my local football team away. Welling was no exception, and Eastern Curry was the eaterie of choice.
A lovely welcome by the polite and friendly staff, in a warm and inviting atmosphere in a small and nicely decorated restaurant.
My friend had never had Tarka Dall before, so he chose it as his starter - "Delicious!" was his exclamation. I had my usual favourite, Rashmee Kebab which was as good as I'd ever tasted.
For the mains, I always like to go for something different, so the Chicken Balti Bengal caught my eye - it was a beautiful blend of cream, garlic, chilli and an array of hers and spices, with delciate pieces of succulent chicken tikka spread throughout. My mate had Ceylon and said it was oustanding.
The prices, were very good and we left suitably fed for out football feast to follow!
