A medium-sized branch of this upmarket supermarket, situated in the shopping arcade built over Gloucester Road underground station.

It has all the staples that Waitrose is known for, albeit on a smaller scale: nice veg, a large organic section, a deli counter, a large and excellent wine selection (clearly they think Kensington residents can make do with a more limited choice of food but dare not skimp on the booze - probably a wise and accurate decision!). Lots of ready meals, though, reflecting its location.

The downside for many will be the complete lack of car parking nearby, although there is an NCP car park on the other side of the Cromwell Road (ironically closer to Sainsbury’s). The other downside is a limited number of tills, (due to lack of space) so queues can form at busy periods.
