Absolutely amazing! I have eaten here lots and love it! atmosphere is lovely and food is proper pub food!! and good price!
A fantastic pub/restaurant, large car park, lovely views from the rear and decking over the valley, close to County Hall and the train station. Wide ranging traditional menu and great bar stocked with great ales, great food and traditional ambiance. Well worth a visit to eat or drink.

This place has now turned itself around and become the outstanding restaurant it once used to be. The food is served so quickly you barely have time to think, but it is cooked to order and piping hot. The range available is good with a nice selection for all courses. The promotions they do on the steaks are good value and you get the full size plate full you would as if you were payig full price. The atmosphere is welcoming, and it is certainly good for famillies. The bar prices are averge and there is a good range of draughts/bottles available.

This place is OK, reminds me a bit of 'Brewers Fayre’ type grub with the meals they offer which are huge platters but just your bog standard pub stuff. They do nice desserts like those big sharing bowls of ice cream which are nice. Too far out of town for a night out really, nice terrace out the back though.

The County Arms is on the outskirts of Truro near to Sainsbury’s supermarket. The food served is good value and generally is quite good quality. Unfortunately the last time I went to the County Arms I and my family felt the food was not as good as it once was. The burger I had did not seem to be cooked all the way through and we did have to ask for them to take it back which they did so and gave a new burger at a reduced price. The waiters/waitresses are usually helpful and do a good job. Overall I think the County Arms is a decent restaurant for the money you pay.

Went for a meal there and the service was very efficient and the food, well I couldn’t fault it,I had rib-eye steak with the usual trimmings and it was so tender I didn’t really need the steak knife. The atmostphere was so relaxing,it was just like being at home.I would not hesitate to go there again.
