Very large library offering an excellent selection of books, CDs, DVDs and audio books. They have a small children’s section, and a bestsellers section where books are only available for a week. There are two further floors upstairs with the non-fiction books. They have all the daily national and regional newspapers, various magazines, along with music scores and reference books. There is also a LearnDirect centre on the top floor, where you can take computer courses etc. Easy to join, and in an excellent location. You can email the staff stock requests and they often take them on board and get the books in within a month or so.

This is an excellent facility with a good turnover of books and a wealth of other media like DVDs and CDs. The location is at the edge of town so its very convenient and the rates are good on the CDs and DVDs.
As a student I find this place invaluable as a second source of reading as they cover a wide variety of subjects and as a general member of the public find the available materials of a high standard.
