Hate the place.
I got thrown out once for bringing in a drink from another shop.
I havent been there since.
The waiters there are not very nice people.
Although I liked the food alot.
But I will never go there again.

Its been a long time since I’ve eaten at Mr. Cod. Overshadowed by the big shots, Chicken Delight and Favourite Chicken, on either side it does have a big fight ahead if it is to win our favour over them.
As Mr. Cod took our orders we sat down to discuss the virtues of the place. We found very little to discuss. The whole place was rather standard. The blue and beige interior tries to emulate a seaside fish and chip shop yet the image is kind of lost as the great wide window exposes you to the road works of Slough High Street.
Not fantastic so far. And to add to the disappointment the toilet was still out of order, as it had been for the last 3 years.
Things started to pick up with the arrival of our food, delivered to our table by Mr. Cod himself. A nice touch, they redeem a few points.
The chicken burger I ordered was rather big but the actual burger took up only two thirds of the bun. Not good. Yet it was nicely cooked, generously mayo’d and just the right moistness. The chips piled on more points to Mr. Cods scorecard. They were simply perfect. Fat, not too greasy, ideal ratio of juiciness to crispiness and they were well salt n vinegar’d.
The choice of drink was pleasing also, they even had Rubicon mango.
But best of all was the deal Nafiul got: Order a steak burger and water and get a fillet burger, chips and can of drink instead at no extra cost.
So, to conclude: If you want more meal than you paid for in a half decent restaurant, Come to Mr. Cod

This is a good quality takeaway with a good range of items available. The prices vary across the products but some of the deals are very good value. The food is of a consistently good quality, it does suffer during periods of high demand but this is common to all fast food businesses.
