Mmmm doughnuts. Super sweet, hot and delicious. A bit too sickly, but taste so great. Occasionally I buy a box for colleagues or when I’ve friends over – they go down an absolute STORM. Always a queue, so it’s not a case of ‘grab and go’ – but if it’s a long queue, the staff sometimes give away pieces to keep you sweet, which makes it all worthwhile!

Love these donuts! Usually treat myself to them once a month.

Only complaint is the que, really need more staff at peak times so I don’t end up waiting 10 minutes to get served and end up getting a parking ticket again! My fault, I know, but just some criticism for them to improve on an already fantastic service.

You know you shouldn't but you do anyway. Krispy Kremes are one of those little luxuries in life and what better place to get them from than a big shop and cafe at the entrance to Selfridges. I love the maple syrup ones, or the glazed ones filled with raspberry, and some of the new special ones like the lemon meringue doughnuts are pretty cool as well! Even if I don't get a doughnut it's good fun to stand there and watch the machinery that makes them. The dough cooking in the oven, getting bigger then plopping into the oil to brown, then being flipped over and covered in icing then onto the conveyor belt.

The only thing that makes me sad is that at the end of the belt is a bin and if the doughnuts don't get plucked from the belt in time, they drop into the bin! Whilst it means if you do buy a doughnut (well, just the glazed ring ones) it's hot and delicious, I always used to wish I could stand at the end of the belt with my mouth open for them to drop into instead. Ah well....!

can't get enough of krispy kremes. would recommend, maybe in small doses. queues are always ridiculously long tho.

Krispy Kreme is great, especially when the Red Krispy Kreme light is on!!!!!

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts was one of the most studious aspects of my University career. First opened in 1933 in the South, Krispy Kreme has long been answering the American need for unhealthy fried sticky sweet goodness.

So imagine my delight, several years later, in finding one in the UK, and right on my doorstep in Birmingham. God bless Selfridge's for their need to show Brummies all the hard-to-find, expensive delicacies they're missing from around the world.

My favourite bit of stumbling into Krispy Kreme in La Habra, California, late at night, was watching the donut-making process, as the freshly fried doughy delights made their way down the conveyor belt to be covered in artery-busting deliciousness, slightly cooled, and placed, with loving care by a uniformed spotty teen, into a box, just for me - and thousands of others.

The Birmingham Bullrignt Krispy Kreme is located in the Selfridge's food hall, right in the opening from the rest of the mall. It's a smallish concession, with barely enough room to queue and pay for your treats, but it does the job nicely.

The prices in the UK KK are a tad more expensive, but if you can walk within 200 yard of the delicious baked goods, sugar-syrup scent and resist stopping by for a Boston Creme, then Sir or Madam, I salute ye.

The staff are averagely helpful, with not much service required. During busy holiday periods, or on the weekends, the queue for KK is usually out the door, so expect to wait for a good ten minutes for your treats.

But never fear, they will have been freshly made, and, if you want, you can ask to wait for a batch which has just come out, something you can't typically do in a baker's shop.

The American invasion is here. Why not embrace it with a bit of greasy goodness?

Krispy Kremes are absolutely delicious! I was a little shocked when I first saw how much they cost but I guess you get what you pay for. They have a huge range of different flavours so it’s very hard to decide which one to buy. The queue can be quite long especially on Saturdays but you can watch them all being made while you wait which is fun.

The grandaughter wanted these for her birthday cake a few weeks ago so my I got a selection of 12 donuts for just under £9 as each one cost around £1.35 and I needed 9 it worked out cheaper to get the dozen. They were nice donuts but not really worth £1.35 each. Was not busy when I went at all but a friendly member of staff informed me and other customers that there were no glazed donuts available as the machine was out of order

Krispy Kreme donuts are beautiful. On the ground floor of the famous Selfridges building in the Bullring in birmingham it is a good place to have a rest from shopping and indluge in a donut or three! when you buy one them the staff often hand out free glazed donuts, these are brilliant. You cant get much better than a fresh donut - unless you’re buying a box of 12. there is so much choice and they’re all so tasty.

Wow, what donuts these are!! Beautiful creations, true works of art, genius and imagination.

This is possibly the very pinnacle of donut creation and experience, miles better than anything in the shops, and worth travelling for.

Go here, feel like you’re in Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, and enjoy the most mouthwateringly delicious donuts that imagination can conjure up.

AMAZING! especially as you get a free dougnut when the red krispy kreme light is on. all kinds of flavours are available froom triple chocolate to apple and cinnamon goo and all are delicious. you can get a box for pretty reasonable price, else it’s good for a quick bite when you’re shopping.

I had never heard of Krispy Kreme before visiting here…we don’t have any in Scotland so when I saw this place I thought I was dreaming.Honestly,Krispy Kreme is my idea of heaven.Far too many doughnuts to choose from so you really have to try them all….it’s only fair!!!I especially love the fact that you see them getting made in the factory area while your waiting in the queue so you get even more hungry by the time you get to the front of the queue.They are slightly expensive but in my opinion totally worth it because they are so yummy.

Expensive and probably very bad for you but sweet and tasty. The Doughnuts on offer are a wide variety of flavours with various toppings as well as the traditional glazed ring doughnuts.

You can purchase doughnuts individually or in a box of 12. Staff are very friendly and take time to talk to you as they serve you, they will even give you free doughnuts (well at 80p a pop they can easily afford to).

the donuts are like a gift from heaven they are just absolutely delicious, but do avoid the weekend as it is just a nightmare.My favourite donuts are the strawberry and cream donuts with a chocolate topping, expensive but you get what you pay for.Highly recommended

Great doughnuts!

At weekends the queue is always massive to get served because they are so good. The bullring is open late on weekdays so if you can i would go in the evening to get some.

You also normally get a free one while you are in the queue, bonus :)

You will fall in love aftre your first bite, they will get you hocked

I have been here several times, mostly when it first opened as they had quite a few special offers. The donuts are lovely, but not nice enough for the price.
