Review of Oxfam from 7 November 2010

I love this shop. It's really cool, the décor is amazing and make it an inspirational place to shop. There is a mix of second-hand, vintage and customised clothing which makes it easy to find a little gem now and again. The clothing is well-edited which means it isn't hard work or frustrating to find something you like.

There are also books, accessories and menswear.

Review of Oxfam from 17 April 2008

I’ve volunteered here. It was great and the thing is I was ignorant of all the things they have inside. You don’t realise there is a vast amount of fair trade goods, brand new and also jewellery, diaries etc which are brand new. They all contribute to raising money for disadvantaged people and promoting fair trade, i.e cutting out the middle man means more profit to the producers. They have some nice stock for people who actually need the clothes, everything that is put out on the shelves has to be in super conditions, its steam ironed inside and even a hint of damage and its in the bin.
I would certainly recommend the books and dvd sections to everyone, as the books are literally knew at bargain prices and same with the dvds! If you are a student for example £1-£2 for a book can’t be bad!
