Merton Kebab House

I feel a little guilty spoiling this kebab joint's perfect record here, but on my ongoing kebab odyssey while this kebab was very tasty (thanks for the tip qype) it was not the best I've had.

The servers seemed slightly puzzled by a sober person ordering a large kebab so early on in the evening. The kebab left a pretty orange rapidly solidifying goo in its wrapper and therefore the same scientific reaction was probably happening in my innards! Best not to think about it.

There are a handful of tables for eating in.

Fantastic kebabs, excellent burgers. We lived in a flat above these guys for about 2 years, and (a bit too) regularly partook of their great fare! Nice portions, very reasonably priced and tasty. Highly recommended - we’ve now moved some distance away, and STILL occasionally order from them for home delivery, that’s how good they are.

Ahh… good old Merton Kebab House. It’s my local kebab shop and defo the best one in the area in my opinion!!! I usually got for the doner kebab or the 1/4 pounder from there and both are great. I always have a kebab with chilli which gives it that extra kick!

The guys are really friendly and although the prices have recently gone up, its still good value for money. What’s more if you feel really lazy, they will even deliver your food to the door during their delivery slots which is great if you fancy a night in but can’t be bothered to walk to the shop yourself! :P

Merton Kebab and Grill is the best kebab shop you will ever go to. Its Chicken burger is made with a fresh chicken breast the same chicken they use for there chicken shish, it is amazing. There mild chilli sauce is great. just simple check this place out if you cant be bothered to go in person ring them and they will deliver it to you.

Oh my god! Do you need a Kebab? Are you in the Wimbledon area? Then you need this place. I know of no better kebab house within a 5 mile radius. I love the shish, the doner and the chicken shish here. All available for about £4 for a small, which is just above average, although this place is just above the avrage. Another friend is a long time fan of the £2 chicken fillet burger. It is yummy! The salad is lush, as is the Garlic Mayo they use. I think i have had better, but in the local area it is the best. Very popular and has been for years, even the police stop here for their munch. Is there a better guide than that?

There is a cash machine over the road at the Tesco petrol station for paying the guys. They are very chatty, friendly and even let you waste your money in their fruit machine whilst you wait. They have a couple of tables ideal for watching match of the day late on a Saturday night if you are lil worse for wear.
