It’s as if you’ve walked into a provincial restaurant in a small French town, the sort of place that sells great food that only the locals really know about. There’s such a great French vibe about this restaurant. To add to the atmosphere, the lighting is subdued and the candle holders are old wine bottles with weeks of melted wax down their sides.

The food is delicious, well cooked and well presented. There’s a choice of set menus, all reasonably priced.

If you have enough room for pudding the chocolate cake covered with hot chocolate sauce is to die for.
