Compliment AnthonyBarnett (17-04-2008) 3

For cheap grub, Monroes carvery is good value. It’s set in an enviable position. If you’re eating outdoors you sit amongst towering pine trees, with a view over vineyards, if indoors, it’s quaint and well decorated.

At lunch-times you can dine on a two course carvery (roast beef, pork, or turkey - mixed if you like) for under 6 euros. For a roast which you can pile high with veg, with desert or starter, it ain’t bad.
