Review of Waterstone's Oxford Street West from 30 December 2008

This isn’t the largest bookstore in London but it’s a nice little getaway from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. The store often holds author’s signings in the days and evenings. The choice of books on offer is grand, and the downstairs is more roomier if you will be staying a while! There always seems to be 3 for 2 offers on books, and other such special editions.

The staff are always friendly and very helpful, and i especially like the hand written staff recommendations you find around the shop, it makes the place feel like a local bookshop, and makes you forget it is just another high street chain. Plus now i can use my waterstones card at least they give you something back.

The staff are always helpful and they will go out of their way to find what you are looking for. The book selection is huge and the best that I have seen in any book store.
It’s also worth visiting just to relax too. You can grab a book, sit on a leather sofa and chill. Compared to other stores on Oxford Street this store is a pleasure to visit.

This Waterstones is well worth a visit purely because of the number of author’s doing signings here. However it’s a shame that this Waterstones has moved in a smaller building, thus reducing substantially the amount of stock on offer. But staff do continue to be very helpful and you can usually find what you want.

This must be the greatest waterstones I’ve ever been to as there is always a famous writer round the corner. the staff are there for you and are there for whatever book you need. Its an easy place to access and better than your local one!

This waterstones is big!!! Its got so many kinds of books. I frequently visit this store to get my story books. I love books by Jeffrey Deaver, Kathy Reichs and other crime books. This store has a fantastic selection. Not only crime books but others as well. The staff there are friendly and helpful. Its right in the busiest street in London as well. Thus, its convinient and easy to get too. There is another Waterstones not too far from here probably just 10 - 15 mins walk near Tottenham Court Road station which is good too.
