I've been to this Carvery on a number of times and I've never been disappointed.I always opt for the Beef and the quality is outstanding, melt in your mouth stuff, nice Yorkshires and a good selection of veg and condiments.

Service is always good and I can't recommend this place high enough.

We went for a family get together. Plenty of room for our group of 18. Had Xmas menu. Variable quality. Starter of parsnip soup was discusting -really weird sweet taste, prawn cocktail completely tasteless. Carvery main course standard carvery but vegetable selection poor - parsnips had weird taste. Vegetarian option ordered by one person - waitress had to be asked repeatedly to bring it. When it arrived it was inedible. Filo pastry so hard it coulds not be cut - bottom of pie missing along with filling!! Waitress agreed this would not be charged but diner went without main course andwent to KFC on way home! Would i visit again - never.

We went here for a birthday meal a few weeks ago. It was a Saturday night but not that busy. Service was good, the waitress very attentive and came back a few times to make sure all was OK.

Positives
Great service, very reasonable price, nice decor, comfy seats, very nice desserts, and a great chicken salad

Negatives
Overcooked food especially the parsnips which had totally dried out and were rock hard. Meat was nice but the crackling for the pork was fatty and soggy no crackle there. Veg was mediocre no greens - just carrots fatty roasted veg like peppers soggy stuffing roast potatoes not quite brown enough etc

Perhaps this is why they are not that busy
Would we go again - No
We could name a few very good carverys to go to but this isnt one of them

We had a fantastic meal here. The menu is simple - carvery with choice of 3 meats or veggie option. Veggies can also choose to have the carvery without the meat. There was tonnes of food, I couldn’t believe how much my greedy husband piled on his plate!! The prices were very reasonable, the atmosphere was busy, but happy and family friendly.

This is a good place to go if you are feeling hungry. Its a good price for what is quite a big plate of reasonably cooked food. I wouldn’t get over excited by it, but if you are near Cribbs Causeway and looking for lunch then it is worth a visit.

The carvery choice is £7.95 for adults and £4.95 for children. I would think that young children under the age of 4 or 5 would struggle to eat a full childs portion though. When we had the beef recently it seemed a good cut and well cooked for such a large venture, very thickly sliced as well and you got a lot of it.

The prices are more expensive at the weekend and on a sunday, and I would avoid it on Sundays as I’ve heard it can get very busy then.

The staff are ok, not overly friendly but not surly either, good toilet and baby changing facilities.

This is really convienient for the cinema and bowling ally so its always really busy!bthe joy of a carvery is that theres never much waiting time though. The food here is usually great although the quality seems to take a dive in the quiet hours in the afternoon. Really well priced thoigh so as long as your in when its busy and the food turnaround time is quick you cant go wrong

This is a great place to go and eat. Good for all the family and excellent dishes and great service. If you feel not cooking today for the family then come here and get your dinner it is truely delicous and just like you have cooked it yourself.

Took a group of 10 today, 6 children and 4 adults. We arrived just before 12 so were seated promptly by the carvery area which was excellent as we could watch the children whilst collecting the food.

The waitress took our drinks orders patiently whilst the children argued and decided then gave us plenty of time to order our food. They offer a selection other than a roast to please fussy children and adults.

The food was excellent and plentiful, we only managed main courses but it would be an excellent venue for big eaters as they pretty much allow you to have as much as you can eat. My mum managed all the meats and 3 yorkshires lol.

Get there early on a Sunday as the restaurant soon became full.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and very clean.

One bad point, the hand dryers in the loos are extremely loud, so we had a couple of the young children in tears.
