I have spent many happy hours in Michael's shop and I am so looking forward to my next visit next week (29 May) when I can go again. A visit needs several hours and I'm always rewarded with some fantastic bargains. Whatever your interest, you will find something here.
The stock includes great old prints and magazines and I particularly like the sheet music section. The man himself is a veritable treasure-trove of information, is exceptionally helpful and friendly and I have recommended this shop to thousands not only for the great stock but the fantastic service which is not found in many places these days

This is an amazing second hand book shop It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s a real rabbit warren inside. I went in for a browse and came out with two books.

Really remarkable - old-fashioned, knows everything, friendly and helpful, and (remarkably) cheap! The best bookshop I have been in for many many years. They were so kind, generous, and helpful to my foreign students that I was almost embarrassed. Not a 'snazzy’ shop, more like a friend’s home - you’ll need lots of time to wander around, but you won’t leave empty-handed.
