I love this shop, all the old fashioned sweets you can dream of. Buy by the gram or in prepacked bags/jars. You can get anything from nerds to bon bons, wham bars My favs are the mini eggs.

Review of Mrs Kibble's Olde Sweet Shoppe from 19 April 2008

Down the quaint and narrow St Christopher’s Place, this is a little pristine, neat, and, well, sweet shop with a white interior offset by jars of colourful sweets. There are mint humbugs, licorice allsorts, gobstoppers, those flying saucers made of rice paper with sherbet inside, toffees, aniseed balls, barley sugars, marshmallows, candy cigarettes, bubble gums, the multicoloured puffed rice you used to get for toy sweetshops…a child’s delight, albeit smartened up for the area and appealing to us “olde”s with its selection of sweets from the past. It even has things from a decade or so ago which I thought had disappeared, such as Jawbreakers and the Double Decker chocolate bar, and grown-up sweets like the Dutch salt licorice. I embarrassed my young companion by squealing with delight as I drooled at every shelf. The only pity is it’s too small, but it holds a lot of sweets for its size and you would need many trips and teeth of steel to taste each jar’s delights.
