At first, Vauxhall seems like it’s pretty thin on the ground for places to eat, but there are a couple of gems amid the kebab and greasy spoon shops. Bellamies is what you’d hope a sandwich shop would be - loads and loads of fresh ingredients, fresh salads and interesting sandwiches (eg smocked mackerel & horseradish) which are much better than you find in the nearby Tescos. They have a small patio for sitting outside, and the staff are really lovely. It doesn’t quite get 5 stars though as it’s a little pricey (£5 for a take away salad is quite steep). However it’s definitely good for breakfast (nice homemade porridge)or lunch if you fancy a nice treat and a break from the office
