I am disappointed to see your negative review. We perform thousands of alterations each month and all of our positve reviews are genuine. I am not personally aware of your issue and this is the first time I have heard of it so could I ask the that you contact me on the following number 07971 401 286 as I have not received the letter. Unfortunately I am very unhappy customer, what should have been a simple and easy job, turned out to be a disaster. My Jacket was taken up on each arm and when completed they were both different. I later returned the jacket to be told the arms matched fine. Anyway they decided to try again and to my disapointment again there was a problem, except this time the other arm was wrong. To add salt to injury they told me there was nothing they could do :s
Waste of time!! waste of money!! and now I have to purchase a brand new jacket!!

Sorry I am the owner and I am not aware of this work! If you are a genuine customer please could you provide the 4 digit job number and contact me at the store. It is impossible that sleeves could be shortened by different lengths and it is impossible that if it were the case that they were indeed incorrect lengths which is unlikely that it could not be rectified. We have been the subject of fake negative reviews recently so sorry but I require evidence this is genuine
I recently got my wedding dress altered at Alterations boutique, and was amazed by the wonderful job they did. They were professional and also very quick at getting me my dress back. I felt at ease and was able to discuss designs and ideas for which they advised me which would and wouldn’t work.
I shopped around before I went to alterations boutique and found most places don’t even have insurance and charge just to have the dress looked at.
I would definitely recommend alterations boutique!

A high profile friend suggested I try this shop. My demands were high as the undertaking was to take charge of all of the outfits for my wedding and with no less than 12 people to fit this required a lot of intricate tailoring, not to mention bead work and I must say, Alterations Boutique carried out this work beyond my expectations and my wedding was an outright success. I would recommend their service to anyone. I would say that some tailoring can require adjustments and a bit of tweaking here and there and this may mean more than one fitting, I couldn’t have asked for more.

I had a job interview the following week and needed my out of shape and out of size suit turned into something wearable.
I was going for my first major job and so didn't have a significant budget and would have struggled to afford a dramatic improvement. Raul and his tailors went all out to accomodate me and went out of their way to provide me with a phenominal transformation for an unbelievable price.
The service, skill level and finish was top class and provided me with a suit which I'd be proud to wear anywhere. I truly couldn't recommend Alterations Boutique enough after the superb way I (and my suit) was dealt with.
Oh, and I got the job.

I came across Alterations Boutique whilst researching tailors who provided home visits for my boss, who has little time to attend to
The reviews here looked fantastic and following an initial email, I received a call within 2 hours.
Impressed with the website and the aesthetic of the shop, he decided to pay a visit to the team and liaised with Raul. After the first consultation the team were able to turn around incredible alterations within 48 hours.
To say my boss is exacting is an understatement; under his own admittance he is OCD about most things. He has Facebooked/Tweeted his praise for the company recommending to all of his friends, and would like to pass it on to others here!
On Facebook: 'This place gets a 11/10 and a SEAL of approval, had forgotten such professional and friendly service even existed in London, highly recommended'.

My wedding dress needed alterations (widening at the back and making it a bit smaller at the top at the front). They have done a wonderful job. It now fits fabulous and I am very happy, looking forward to the big day.
The decoration of the shop is very beautiful and it has a lovely style with beautiful mirrors and wall-paper, making this a special experience. I felt confident to leave me wedding dress in their care.
People are very friendly and helpful and it was an enjoyable and memorable experience to go for the fittings.

Really lovely people! i had my wedding dress altered here, and i am very happy with the result! I will be back here again should i need anything else altering, will be recommending to my friends as well!

What a lovely shop! I had my wedding dress shortened and it came out absolutely perfectly - just lets my shoes peep out of the bottom and is exactly 1/2" off the floor all the way around.
The shop itself is beautifully decorated and on a pretty little street. There are ample thick black velvet curtains around the dressing room, too, so you're never left feeling like someone's going to see in.
And, unlike a lot of shops, the people here actually seem to understand real customer service. I'll certainly be coming back.

What a welcome change to the usual tailoring experince this is.
From the moment you walk in, with it's tastefully decorated recepetion and seating area - reminiscent of a Saville Row shop - you know it's going to be a different class.
I took some jeans there two weeks ago (the crotch was too big) and was shown into a proper changing room (not just a cupboard with an old curtain hanging over it, like in some places) to try them on. The owner, Maria, then took a look and put some pins in. I was a bit worried she might be taking too much in, but she told me they could let them out again a little if that was the case, which was very re-assuring. She also jokingly told me she had been doing this for years and not to try and understand how tailoring works!
I picked them up a few days later and you would hardly be able to tell there had been any work done, so well were they done.
They are more expensive than the competition, for sure, but if you have nice clothes and want them looked after properly, it's really worth it.
