Interconti Aphrodite Hills, Kouklia

Truly a 5 star resort. The hotel is grand and impossing while the staff are exceptional friendly and attentive. Staying in a junior suite was a great choice. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom is of equal size to the room with vast walk in rain shower and bath for 2 also. These rooms have doors leading out to the pool which is on two tiers and an infinity pool. It is a little cold but great design. The buffet breakfast was vast, as would be expected but was nice and not too hot sitting outside. Lunch is extortionate but if you walk up to the shops can grab a sandwhich for a third of the restaurant or pool service prices. A multitude of restaurants to choose from for dinner, have to say, the cheapest, the Italian was not only exceptionally good value, but delicious and probaly the best garlic bread i have ever had. The food is great at the buffet too, albeit again, expensive.

With a coke costing 4.5 Euros its not cheap to stay hydrated but again, stocking up at the shop and keeping drinks in your room fridge adds lots of value. All in all for a romantic escape for a few days its well worth the money.
