Archway Leisure Centre

Quite astonishing that you can't find out gym membership prices without going in and having an appointment with them. Apparently this is because they have over 50 membership plans. Is it any wonder basic plan no-frills gyms are flourishing? 

Hiorrible place i use the Gym purely because it's local however looking to change once my memebership runs out.

Staff are generally not very bright, never seem to know whats going on if you ask them anything.

Gym itself is small and at peak times hard pressed to find a machine. The Mens changing rooms are the most disgusting i have ever seen. Trust me I have been to some developing countries with better changing rooms. Don't worry pictures to follow.

One of our favourite family swimming pools in London - a great pool for little ones and for kids not that confident in water. A beach style fun pool with one largish slide, a small slide, various bubble jets, wave machine, large shower spray and a swim under a waterfall . We have swum here every couple of months for the last 10 years with all four of our kids - perfect for under 10s. The water is warm and the centre clean. Good changing rooms and hot showers. The lockers even return your coin. My only criticism is that the family changing facilities are not that great - no family lockers.....

A minute walk from Archway station - we normally go after school and the pool is never that busy. They do offer lane swimming at certain times - approx 25m marked off by floating lane ropes across the middle of the leisure pool - be warned that water is shallow. There is a poolside jacuzzi.

This is an awful pool for regular swimming, due to the shape of the pool there is only room for three lanes, the first one being too shallow to do a proper stroke in - my hands where brushing the bottom!

The mens changing rooms where warm, dry and clean, but offered no privacy. There were open showers set in a tight semi circle and no changing cubicles.

It was all generally a bit tired looking.

That said I think it would be worth a visit if you had small or non swimming kids with you.

Swimming Pool, Jazcuzzi, and Slide. Also Gymes. Full Facilerty Channging Rooms. Also Very Good For Money Cautious!!

This Swimming Pool Is One Of The Best Pool’s In North London. It Has A Great Slide And A Jacuzzi And Also Has A Fine Gym, And Also Has Great Changing Rooms And Showers.

This is a pretty good swimmong pool, although it really is for families and children, not for serious up-and-down swimmers. There isn’t much space for exercise-swimming, but plenty for playing. It is really more like a landscaped garden, but a swimming pool one. It has a glass roof so light pours in, white walls and floors, which give it a sunny, holiday feel, warm water (30 degrees), and special features such as little waterfalls and bubbly bits. There is a little bubbly bit for children, and a jacuzzi for adults overlooking the pool, so parents can relax while keeping an eye on their children. On top of all this, it has a water slide! Perfect.
