Beecraigs Country Park

Perfect place for a walk !
It has everything a farm, a loch, ducks & other birdes to feed and lovely walk pass through the park.

Beecraigs is a large country park just outside Linlithgow. It’s very easy to find although in winter the roads to the park are prone ice.. There is a large playpark split in to sections so that there is something for each age group.
There are plenty of picnic tables and a BBQ spot.

The park has many walks around the loch, through the forest and up carinpapple and other hills. They are currently replacing some of the paths to make them more wheelchair and pram friendly.

The park centre has icecream and coffee as well as a selection of other goods.

There is a lot of wildlife and posts with information on everything from trees to the species of ducks seen on the loch, dotted about the park.
It’s great for walks, my parents took me as a child and now I take my daughter who loves it too.

The park is a great day out for the family and has a full outdoor play area complete with spider net for the kids to get stuck into, the flying fox was broken the last couple of times I have been there but there is so much to do we hardly noticed, don’t just go there for the play park though, the walks are well layed out and if you are into orienteering thee are a few courses catering for that too. If you make it round the loch drop into the trout farm where you can feed the fishes.

Beecraigs has walks a park and fishing loch. The large play park is usually busy with families for picnics etc and an Ice cream van in the car park. There are multiple woodland walks which are all well signposted and never busy.
