One day I will buy a glamorous dress from there. I prefer with a corset and a smooth front line. I'm going to be like a princess on my wedding day. At the moment, I'm not planning nothing special. We'll see. But let's be honest - first of all, I have to meet the right person for me.

probably very good as a shop but not good when buying through mail order. I have been waiting nearly four months for an order, and keep getting fobbed off, staff dont seem very helpful either. I am considering cancelling my order and getting the liingerie elsewhere. Shame because what did come was good quality.

I love this shop amazing clothing ! I shop here whenever i have enough money - its not cheap here but the quality is amazing and there is so much choice. if you love corsets and retro clothing this is the place to go ive got 5 corsets so far and love them although some can take 4-6 weeks to come its worth the wait ! I got measured and they fit perfectly , the staff are quite relaxed and whenever ive been in happy to help. This shop is a lot more relaxed then your average shop so you can go in and enjoy yourself. Once youve been in here a few times the staff really get to know you helping pick out your style , i find it quite friendly although others may not like this. To me this is one of my faviroute shops you wont get high-streets stuff here but for that special occasion, work or even a nice dress for summer wear this is the place to go.

I wanted a corset to go under my wedding dress-giving that hour glass shape! I found fgm and decided that speaking to the people in the shop would be best as they have the experience and the know how to advise me on the best shaped corset for under the dress. WRONG! The customer service is RUBBISH! Yes they will lace you into a corset but unless you ask they don’t measure you or anything else. I went in about 4 times before I gave up and did my own research online. I did order a corset from them, it took just over a month (which is as stated) then came in the wrong size (that is not the size that I ordered not me ordering the wrong size) so I waited another month and have the corset which doesn’t work under the dress as the bit that comes up between the boobs stick out. OK this was down to my own research being incorrect but I did ask at the shop, repeatedly. And as they don’t refund or exchange custom made items I am severely out of pocket. The corset itself is beautiful, but I’ll never have anything to wear it with so it’s useless.

Another thing out watch out for is they don’t always tell you all the options. I went in and spoke to a lady (who I assume was the manager) once who told me that I should have been offered ribbon as well as cord to lace the corset as it sit flatter under a dress, this lady was the only person working there that measured me, told me which size to order, and explain how the corset would sit under a dress-unfortunately I’d already ordered at this stage. Also the second time I received the corset (the correct size) it came with suspender attachments and a silky bag to keep them in.

I emailed the shop a fortnight ago with some questions about the size of a sale item (as I can’t afford to throw away another £200) after a week I prompted a response and got an email the same day asking which item (I’d taken the item out of the subject bar) I told them the item the next day, still heard nothing-maybe they are waiting for the item in question to sell out before responding. I don’t know.

To summarise the quality of the products is second to none-really, really top quality. Customer service is available to none they’re really, really more interested in their hair.

Bought my wedding lingerie here, wish I'd bought my wedding dress here too, the corsets are fabulous! The staff fit you then you can choose for 1000's of fabrics and the corset is made up with the matching skirt, how cool is that. So much more fun and less stuffy than a traditional bridal shop. got really busy on the sunday we went, had to wait a while for a changing room, but was kept entertained by seeing everyone in their outfits. Love this shop!

This shop tucked away in spitalfields has to be one of London's best Lingerie shops. Well stocked with a wall full of pretty bra sets and silk teddys (Ayten Gasson my favorite!) as well the largest collection of corsets you are likely to see anywhere. The staff are relaxed and friendly, but equally happy to squeeze you into a proper steel boned number if you need help. Great for us busty girls. They also seem to do some dresses, retro and cocktail rather than daywear.

With the closure of its Camden store, the Spitalfields Mkt branch now carries a larger range of designs in various sizes.
Prices are quite high but it does reflect the excellent quality of the outfits.
Not just a store for “goths”, also house a lot of other vintage clothing and is a must visit for those into burlesque or the style of Dita von Teese.

Whilst the original FGM is in Camden and run very ably by Pippa who is a wizz at corsetry the new FGM shop is in Spitalfields Market and run by the owner. This shop is about 10 times the size of Camden. A far better variety and the opportunity to browse in a more comfortably area. Corsetry is expensive and like everything else you certainly get what you pay for.

FairyGothMother is probably the ultimate place to buy Goth clothing.
They have the Sexy, the Flamboyant, Burlesque, Fetish, prom gowns etc and specialise in Corsets. Jewellery and accessories are also available.
If you want to look stunning or stand out at a Whitby Goth weekend or club then this is the place to buy clothes.

You do have to have the figure though. They don’t do a lot for the larger sizes.
More importantly you have to have the money! This stuff isn’t cheap but it would make a Goth girly drool.
To make up a basic outfit a corset is around £130. Add a skirt £80. A beautiful jacket £295. A hat £85 and a necklace £95.
So for a decent outfit you won’t get much change from £700.
A great place to buy a Goth wedding outfit though.
They have another shop in Spitalfields.

You have to see this. I am a freak when it comes to corsets and whoever feels the same is just gonna ador this shop. You can also buy comfortably from home via internet...Prices are not bad, considering you are getting a decen corset. For the waist corset it is on average around £60.

Expensive, yes. But 100% worth a visit. The couple who manage the shop really know their stuff and will measure you and tie you in to whichever corset you do so choose. The variety of stock is extraordinary; with items to suit any purpose: lingerie, bondage or teemed with a skirt to make a classic outfit. If going out with the purpose of buying a corset, rather than for the experience of windowshopping and trying-on, Fairy Goth Mother is definately worth the money, as the quality of their stock cannot be beaten.

At Firy Goth Mother they sell a wide range of the most bewitching corsets imaginable!
Whatever the nature of you interest in corsets, this shop is worth visiting.
Located on Camden Lock, Fairy Goth Mother is not difficult to find, and, regardless of the shop being rather small, once you are there you autumatically want to spend many long hours looking at the many interesting corsets of all colours, shapes and sizes.
Fairy Goth Mother is probably the best place to buy a corset, corsets being what they specialice in, and they have any kind of corset that you could possibly desire.
Yes, indeed, I believe that this is the very best corset shop in London. Alas, it is not the cheapest.
