The Old Hillcrest Station was set to be torn down until some genius rennovated it and turned it into this little English pub just off the main road in Hillcrest, about 20 minutes from the centre of Durban.

This pub is the sister to Stoker’s Arms in Kloof, and boasts similar decor, menu and atmosphere. It has a great patio area for the long summer nights, and when winter hits, they have log fireplaces inside that will keep everyone warm. The prices are good, and the atmosphere is even better. So after you have visited it’s sister - make sure you give this pub a try too!

kittikat Totally agree with you, it’s a great place with good food and atmosphere. Used to take our UK visitors there for a meal and they were suitably impressed with the menu and prices.
Stokers Arms has a good ambiance as well, very laid-back especially for a Saturday lunch.
