Italian food but American portions. Huge. Seats 800 so great for parties. It is decorated nostalgically, with antiques, stained glass, Tiffany lamps, and mismatched tables and chairs.
This is an enormouse building full of old enamel advertising signs and has different seating areas. It has an old train in the middle of the floor.
If you like moving while eating a huge glass lift is an eating area and there are tables inside an old Sanfransisco tram!
Try the angel hair pasta mmmmmmmmmmm! lasagna and garlic bread yummy! Everything is freshly made and prepared. Hand made pasta and meatballs, freshly chopped aubergines, authentic San Francisco sourdough bread hot out of the oven etc. All to old traditional recipes. Americans complain it is a bit expensive but cheap by British standards. The place would make up for any of it.
